Home-made 3D cards for the elderly

My brother-in-law (who was an art teacher) and my sister -in-law have regularly produced 3D card letters for her mother (my mother-in-law) At 107 she is rather beyond really appreciating them now but they served well for so long and I think are a lovely idea for an older person who enjoys supplementing poor eyesight with feeling shapes and texture – good exercise for finger joints also! I hope to write something alongside photos of a few.

Feel the fluffy rabbit
peeping through the crispy leaves:
Does he a tasty lettuce see –
soon dash out to grab it!?

And there's a little ladybird –
if he’s scared
he’ll lift his red back,
and up, away he’ll fly –
‘Good-bye!’
