There’s thousands of bombers
as monsters in the night
not afraid of ‘ack-ack’ blues
German children cowering
when will it end
and vengeance continues
bricks falling from
toppled towers

homes and churches
schools and hospitals
murder keeping up the pace
and much more blood --
innocents gone to
their Maker.

In Dresden and Hamburg
industries falling like
dominoes
take this and that
murdering Huns
remember London
Dieppe and Holland Marshes

finally home to a loving
wife -- healthy children
and loses himself in the bottle.
