THEY LIVE AMONG US poem

They Live Among Us

The tree is alive
with the sound of feathers

and beaks peck at leaves
filled with red berries.

Bird ecstasy is soothing
as sky breaks open

and the flush of rain
begins covering us all.

Now is the moment
for a splashing good time.
