As I sit here in the comfort of my home, I am reminded of the safeness of a Canadian apartment, my wife by my side, tummy filled and the warmth of our living room, like a familiar nest. We pray, my wife, Esther and I, for those in Libya who are struggling to attain these same feelings, right this moment, now.
And it grieves me how a leader for 41 years can destroy his own country with greed and vindictiveness at those who no longer respect him. May the nations of the world try and understand that within each of us is a beast which, at times, must be tamed.
For those who believe in God, there is a strength to draw from. Also ready to be called upon in each of us, the Holy Spirit to guide us in our daily walk. Friends, those of you out there in Cyberspace, do not take this situation in the Middle East lightly, since it affects all of us.
And you can still do so much from the safeness of your home; and it's---pray for your struggling fellow humans, right now.
