New
Years Eve
This night we have all been waiting for,
this year long.
Now is the time to let yourself go, and burst
out into song.
For this is New Year's Eve, we must now let
the old time go.
Bringing in the New Year, with luck and
happiness to all we know.
Cast off the old; bring
in the new, making new resolutions.
Ring the bells, bang the
drums, to shout and sing is the solution.
Bend your arm and
down the wine, kiss all the girls around.
New Year begins at
mid-night, embrace all and surround.
Hear those
jubilant voices, heralding in this New Year.
This glorious
morn, listen to endearing whispers to those so dear.
Time has
arrived, for all to return from whence they came.
Knowing
this happy season will be with us again.
