Congratulations on an historic convention Mr. President! What I saw was the revival of a winning, inspired and principled Democratic Party... or a nation awakening through that medium.
Of course leaders like yourself have most vitally kept the flame of American egalitarianism alight through the long winter... as passed to us from Jefferson to F.D.R. to our grandparents like Dorothy and Madelyn... awoken now in us. When Fox News gives your nominee preferential coverage... you know something real is happening(I had a small hand in that, b.t.w. sir) I have to tell you that as part of my social media activity(in a typical day diverse issues are covered...) I quoted Bill Clinton's convention speech regarding Russia...
And I'm getting some heavy-handed push-back... the usual death threats and all that rubbish. I feel that we're trying to have a great American conversation but there's illegitimate interference. I'm not just spouting things here like Trump does some times; I've been studying and living these issues all my life.
There were years when I said nothing political like so many Americans because I just didn't care for the flak or 'sound and fury' -
Chelsea Clinton
... but I saw alarming trends and heard 'the sound of silence.' So I spoke up and I also took some actions such as I was capable of. Regarding sensitive matters like Russia, I am most interested in official guidance etc., but I would point out that progress here needs an open political conversation. And I think I'm qualified to be a voice in it... but I'm not certain of that any more. There've been some storms....But as things stand my ability to express myself on social media is what I can do to fill my days. And I don't care to be a puppet. Really, we should let the people speak. Thank you, Mr. President for your kindnesses and for leading our strong economic recovery and a moving and momentous convention! #StrongerTogether #DreamTeam #AmericanRenaissance most admiring regards, Sean L Nelson
