He made Butterflies

Fragile wings designed
with etchings of tiny lines;
coloured with perfection,
to reveal The Artist's mind.

Lighter than air,
Dancing in the sun,
Fluttering contentedly,
As joy's painting done.

The Artist smiles
at the beauty of creation,
and this last edition,
His joy's exclamation.

Delicacy,
Fragility,
Here for a moment,
Perfectly.

This is lovely, Shannan. And the more one reads about studies on the detail of colouring and movement of butterflies, the more amazing one finds the design is in complexity and beautiful control. Rhiannon
