Way Of The Ivy

In the shadows retrieved,

wandering ivy leisurely

weaves, obsequious to

its ancient behaviour...

only the weak are moved

to protest, those towering

verdant are in silence

suppressed –

where feathers once nest,

they held their own, family

of fledglings taken flight...

now long gone.
