Snow

As a white blanket yet again covers the earth for miles around, this
time I am inspired. This time, I am inspired by my friends. I am
inspired by the way we find such pleasure and glee in gathering the
powdery white dust in our hands and trying to fight each other to the
ground with it. I am filled with happiness at the energetic frolics
each of us carries out at the snow covered 'paddock.' It makes me warm
to run around like a child, gathering snow, not caring if I'm cold,
just inhaling this feeling of freedom and carelessness. CONTENT. Then
my heart observes partners playing lovingly in the snow then converging
into each others arms, and in the middle of the hysteria, two lovers
are engaged are share a kiss so meaningful. The snow has now become a
mystique, and the darkness adds to the scene, making it seem unreal.
Although cold, wet and tired, they do not seem to care. They are
together and the storm of snow falling around them seems to be nothing
but the scenery adding to the ardourous encounter. AMAZING. As I look
up there's snow. My time spent thinking seemed to mean nothing in this
timeless escapade. It's time to go, yet still the snow falls, like dust
settling on a polished surface, the snow falls of the aged grass of
Grantham, The Paddock.
