CHAPTER ONE
When I was born, my parents thought I was beautiful. Well, my mom did. My dad hates me now.
My name is Becca. I'm fifteen years old. I still live with both of my parents in Maryland.
One cold morning, my mom woke me up. "Becca, get up," she said. I got up and looked around the room. "aMom, what's going on?" I asked. "Your going to a boarding school in California. Your father threatened to kill you," Mom said. "I need to put you to safety," she added.
I went to go take a shower. A quick one. I put on a red v-neck shirt and jeans. I put on black converse and put my hair in a pony tail. I also put on a locket that my mom gave me. There was a picture of her and me when I was a baby.
After that, we got breakfast at McDonald's. Then, we drove off to the airport. I put my bags on the luggage drop off. I hugged my mom. "I love you so much!" I said. "I love you too," she said. She was starting to cry. "I call you when we get to California," I said.
"Okay. Bye honey," my mom said. "Bye mom," I said. She let me go and walked off. I started to cry. Then they called my plane number. So, I went to get on board.
My seat was next to a girl about my age. "Hi," she said. "Hi," I smiled. "Are you going to Ocean View Academy?" she asked. "Yep. Sure am," I said. "Me too. Maybe we'll be roommates," she said. "Yeah, what's your name?" I asked. "Kristen," she said. "I'm Becca," I said.
We arrived in California about five hours later.
I got off the plane and got my luggage. There was a bus for all the Ocean View Academy student and a buf for their luggage.
I put my luggage on the bus and got on the bus for the students.
I sat next to Kristen again. She's nice. I pulled my cell phone out of my purse and called mom. We talked until we got to the school. "Bye mom. I gotta go," I said, hanging up.
When, the bus stopped, I got off. They only let one student get their luggage at a time. I was the first one luckily. And luckily, they let you put your luggage on a luggage cart.
I went to the main office when I got to the school. The campus was beautiful. It was a sky blue day. Not a single cloud. And there were palm trees and soda machines on campus. I think I'll love it here.
"Name?" a lady with grey hair pulled up into a bun, and glasses said. "Becca Hollow," I said. She typed on her computer. Your schedule and dorm number," she said, handing me a paper. "Thanks," I said, taking it. "Room 102 in Charles Hall," I told myself.
I went to find my dorm. When I went in, no one was there. The dorm was a beautiful purple color. The window was big. It had a view of the ocean and a basketball court. I put my stuff on the top bunk.
A girl with brown hair, like me came in. "Can I have the single bed?" she asked. "Yeah," I said. She put her stuff on the single bed. I made my bed and then I unpacked. "I'm Chloe," she said. "I'm Becca," I said.
Then, a girl with long blond hair came in. "I get the bottom bunk, yaya," she said. "I'm Maddie," she said. "Becca," I said. "Chloe," Chloe said. "Nice to meet you two," Maddie said.
She too, made her bed and unpacked. After we were all done Maddie said, "You wanna go get some dinner?" Chloe nodded.
We went to a great restaraunt with great food.
After we got down, we went to our dorm. It was 10:00, so we went to bed.
