would I recognize my love on this earth

if our souls were close would they converse

telling the other of their undying love

for the last time they met was in heaven above

would I know your smile upon your face

a familiar feeling one tries to place

of knowing the other in another time

feeling as if once you were mine

would I know your touch upon my skin

felling your warmth from deep within

would I know your love if you shared it with
me

the kind that last for eternity

or would I just turn and walk away

not knowing my love had come my way

could I be so blind as not to see

the love of my life standing before me

then as I look back at the end of my time

searching my journey for that love of mine

to play in my head each day once more

hoping to see my love at heavens door
