Oh it’s a lazy Sunday afternoon
When you can be bother to move
Why should you out of your nice
Warm room
You look outside
It yucky out there
Why do they hell
You think to yourself
I want to go out there
No I am not moving to day
No unless I have to
Going to stay right here
And just look at you
That will do
I could cook dinner
If I could be bother to move
I don’t think I even want to
Reach for that book
Or it just to far away from me
You get up
And say let some things done
But then you look at me
And then you look out side
And say it yucky today
The ruddy garden can wait
Well its half past three we got to eat
So I craw on my feet
And hit the microwave
Put in some left over to warm up
And get a nice drink of wine or water
And now and sit by you
We put on the TV and
And we sit
And we eat then we go to sleep
No I am not moving to day
No unless I have to
Going to stay right here
And just look at you
That will do
Oh my lord we wake up again
Remember our friends said there
Come around to night
At 6.30 for a drink
Oh look at the place and us
We now rush
Running around
Like a mad brush
Tidy up
In a space of an hour we get it done
We now have time to go back and be
Lazy you and me we got
The rest of the afternoon
Before they come
To do as we please
So I say to you
No I am not moving to day
No unless I have to
Going to stay right here
And just look at you
That will do
My dear
Until they come
I am gong to stay right here
And watch TV
Oh it’s a lazy afternoon
Yes it's a lazy Sunday afternoon.
