Riverside

Sitting by the
riverside watching life go by

the sun shine down

on the surface of the
water making

dimonds in the day
light

lookin up I see clouds
gently moving along

and in the distant

I can hear some kind of
relaxing song

swans and ducks on the
water swimming on by

and the sound of the
water

laping the sides boats

and they sail on by

canal boats park along
the the river bank

painted pretty colours
of red and green

with yellow flowers and
red roses

painted in bright
colours on there sides

watch them bop up and
down

and the boats are
sailing by them

making little tider
waves

as there line up they
seem to be a sleep

people walking by

enjoy the sunshine

people sitting by it
side

drinking beer and wine

and lemonade on benchs
by it's banks

kids playing in the
park having a good time.

And the river flows
strong and deep

as dragonflys play
along it's water

what a beauity relaxing
scene

in the afternoon heat

makes you want to
almost fall a sleep
