Don’t get me wrong Yvonne

“I’m not an idiot.”
Mike said nothing, he was focused on number 47, the mark’s residence.
“It’s a mistake anyone could make,” Jay continued. Again Mike said nothing.
“I mean, you don’t expect cleaning staff to use the front entrance.”
Mike turned and gave Jay a look, but still said nothing.
“I know she was dressed as a cleaner, but I thought it was the princess in disguise, you know, to avoid the paparazzi. A princess isn’t going to wear a tiara and diamond necklace popping out to the corner shop.”
Mike could stay silent no more.
“What sort of princess would ride a rusty old bike with a wicker basket on the front?”
“I’ve said I’m sorry. At the end of the day there’s no harm done.”
“No harm! The Man With a Plan had spent months preparing that job – he'd bribed neighbours, bugged staff, spent weeks staking out the house, then had to abandon the whole thing because you decided to kidnap Mrs Doubtfire.”
“I know, I know. I got the full earful. ‘You got me wrong princess’, he screamed at me, but these are easy mistakes to make, you have to make split second decisions.”
“Just don’t get it wrong again, Jay. You don’t want the Man With The Plan saying 'You got me wrong Yvonne’.”
“I’m not going to get the wrong Yvonne. This job is different, I’ve seen all her films, I’d recognise her in any disguise or setup.”
“Shush,” said Mike. “I see movement.
The car was stilled with silence.
“I don’t see ...”
“Shush,” said Mike.
“I just ...”
“Shush,” said Mike.
The resultant silence was awkward.
“Here she is.”
The front door opened, and a woman dressed as a cleaner emerged.
“That’s not her,” said Jay. “That’s her cleaner.”
Mike used his phone to get a close-up. “No, that’s her. “She must have dressed as a cleaner to shake off the paparazzi.”
“That’s not her. I’ve seen her in fifty films. Have you even seen any of her movies?”
“I don’t do movies, but I’ve done my research, looked at all the photos, and that’s definitely her. She’s at the front gate, let’s go. You do the chloroform I’ll get her in the car.”
“But what if ...?”
“Don’t cock up another job, Jay. The Man with The Plan won’t be amused.”
“Just don’t get the wrong Yvonne.”
