I dreamed

I dreamed a dream Last night, in bed
But not of you But he.
'twas not you Who talked of joy,
Hugged or comforted me

In the darkness He was there
Showing me the light
& when the monsters
Advanced on us
'twas he who put up a fight

When I woke up I felt so strange
I didn't know what to do
This dream had brought up past memories
& a threat for my feelings for you

From other times of feelings like this
No-one seems to have won
& now my feelings ask themselves
"Am I ready To move on?"
