I stumbled through the darkness
And guessed my way through life
With ice and heated passion
I'd never be a wife
With mind so clear
Goodbye my dear
A bolting flash of light
New paths to take
I see them now
In very clear bright sight
No days of sitting waiting
That used to make me sigh
No longer in my world today
Got bigger fish too fry
Squeeze that juicy orange
Drain that river dry
Compliance is a mortal sin
Can't you just see why?
And with my choice
I will rejoice
Now I have found my place
And never will a married man
Ever occupy my space
