She is waiting for the train,
The train is late.
She doesn't care,
She can wait.
She knows that this journey,
Will be her last.
It will take her far,
From all that has passed.
As she waits,
She wonders why,
It has come to this,
And she begins to cry.
She cries for those,
She'll leave behind,
The ones who cared,
The few that were kind.
She wishes now,
She'd said goodbye,
But it's too late now,
So she wipes her tears dry.
The train is near
She holds her head high,
And as she steps forward,
"I'm Free!" she cries.
