You know, a funny thing happened to me the other day.
I was making a cup of tea in my kitchen when I realized, to my annoyance, that I had run out of sugar and I was just about to use some artificial sweetener which, by the way, I hate because of the bitter aftertaste it always leaves in my mouth when this bee came along and started buzzing around my tea cup.
“Buzz off, bee”, I said and I was about to swat him with my tea spoon when, to my astonishment, the bee started to speak.
“Hey, calm down”, he said, “I just wanted to tell you about a great alternative to sugar that won’t leave a bitter aftertaste in your mouth the way that artificial sweeteners do”.
“Really?”, I asked with a smile, “Wow, that’s great. I’ve always wanted a low fat alternative to sugar that tastes good. What is it?”.
“Granulated honey”, said the Bee, pouring some into my tea and giving it a stir, “Its honey but it’s granulated so that you can put it in your tea just like normal honey but without the sticky mess. Try some”.
I took a sip and, I can honestly say, I'd never tasted honey so good.
“I love it”, I said, “But Mr Bee, why are you telling me all this?”.
“Because it’s made by bees”, he said, waving as he buzzed away, “And that makes bees proud”.
Why don’t you try some Granulated Honey today because granulated tastes great.
