The leaf that flew south

By well-wisher

Fri, 12 Sep 2014
  • 524 reads

A leaf once longed to follow

Summer songbirds flying south

then fortunately a swallow

picked the leaf up in its mouth.

He carried it across the sea

to where Elephants roam

and landing in a mango tree

the leaf made its new home.
