Thought on Socialism and 'The Bill of Rights'

If Americans had only drafted a longer bill of rights and had acknowledged, besides  rights such as freedom of religion and the right to freedom of speech, such basic human rights as the right to food and water or the right to healthcare and housing then they might have been socialists. Socialism simply acknowledges those human rights that the writers of the American constitution forgot to mention.
