Noise

 

D.       Distant  hills beckon

 

E.       Escape to the sound of nature

 

C.       Call of the curlew in a remote glen

 

I.        Ice crunching underfoot

 

B.      Bees making honey at the abbey, a sweet blessing

 

E.      Ebb of the tide and tumbling shells

 

L.      Lie awhile and listen to the wind make music with the trees

My ears can only cope with soft sounds, anything at the bottom end of the decibel scale.

Hope you are well and, hey...sorry I missed this one till now.  Just noticed you were  logged in, and thought I'd see what you'd been up to lately and found this little gemsmiley

An original approach to the I.P. and I love the thought of ebbing tides and the tumbling of shells, but then again, I would, wouldn't I?

A thank you for reading this IP.  I was about to remove it and think again when Philip and Tibi posted a comments.

In a way I'm reminded of the Alphabet challenge that Rich (Hudson Moon) suggested some time back.

I often dip into  read your " Countryside exploration" tales"  but don't acknowledge a read.
