to what we all now see

the dates of all their festivals
had gotten out of whack
and caesar did his very best
to bring the order back
.
away with mercedonious
an often used effect
to straighten up the march of time
that mankind clearly wrecked

Short and sweet and witty. I'm tempted to try and include mercedonious into my everyday conversation just to see everyones eyes glaze over while they pretend to have a clue what I'm talking about.
