But surely now my wings must melt.
I’m flying so near the sun.
But the victims of sobriety
Have not run as I have run.
 
I have no right to judge of them.
As they may not judge me.
So bless them and their Netflix lives,
Pressing “Play” on bended knee.
 
I don’t regret a minute,
Well sometimes late in bed.
But I’ll not regret the marvellous things.
I’ve pictured in my head.

Fabulous title - and I really like the poem. Do you think perhaps that first 'but' might be a bit unnecessary?
