A lasting memory for father & son
our jogging pace kept alive
along a weathered mountain trail
as we tested muscle and bone.
It sure felt good in spite of rain
and breezes from twilight’s gaze.
Too soon came time to part our ways
fun ending by a fishing stream
and goodbye never a forever word.

Hi Richard. I'm terribly sorry to hear this news. Love to you both/all.
Your poem is beautiful and well executed. It really evokes the relationship, sense of place and that truly North American poetic voice that I so enjoy reading.
Take care,
Kevin
