Mask-querades

A mask is for personal protection.

Not white and blue unfolded pastel paper

or hard as nails domes that make us look

like tight-lipped anaemic monkeys.

Forget designer FAB-rics

or jokey Mick Mouse smileys.

More invisible than The Emperor’s new clothes.

Stronger than Kevlar.

We wear one for most of our lives

. . . only we know why.

Interresting, masks, and (hiding of) facial expressions and faking smiles. Very nice. I agree with the cherries. Very honest.

I kind of like wearing a mask it hides the real one :)
