Sharing with the One who knows
By Rhiannonw
- 403 reads
[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]
We see the outer side,
the smiling gaze,
reports of purchases
and holidays.
Concerns may all be locked
inside the ‘book’,
within the cover shut
so few can look.
Maybe a husband, mother,
a sister or a friend
may have a peep inside
to understand.
But only God sees all,
compassionate;
he understands, can help:
why obstinate?
Not wanting to own need,
confess and pray:
since all’s already known,
don’t hide away.

honesty
If someone else is reading your books it is also known as you say and no point in end, there is nothing for you to hide. Live so that you don't have secrets. It is easy to be honest, but very hard to live so that you can be honest. Things tend to compound better sort them out at the start.
What is whispered now in secret will be shouted from the rooftops, never mind the internet.
