Thank you for introducing me to these poppies Rhiannon. I'd never heard of Wild Welsh poppies before. Lovely worded poem, and the photos are beautiful.

Thank  you, Jenny. We can't do much with our garden at present, but there is a good showing of these spreading around at present. They are just called Welsh Poppies, but I wanted to emphaise that they are not cultivated. They thrill me, especially in the sunshine! Rhiannon

thank you. I hope 'crinkled silk chffon' is the fabric I'm thinking of. My husband was quering it. I had thought 'crinoline' was what that sort-of dress material was called. But when I looked it up that seems quite a stiff fabric! I know what kind of dresses I had in mind! Rhiannon
