under the Modern Moon

All things are possible

under the Modern Moon,

where the chains of the old world

are broken and cast away...

so that we begin anew like a feral, tropical island

with restaurants and tiki bars 

so that the peoples of many lands

imbibe and talk of books and many diverse matters,

under her abundant, voluptuos luminescense

which renders the very stars and city lights dim
