Briefly a snowflake

What it is to be a snowflake forming in a cloud.
Words come later
First
Pressure pushing,
from centre growing…
Inward contracted,
outward flowing
Sound “crs, ssst, shhh”
Jerky, awkward.
Shift side.
I point
frosted finger…
rotate.
Tumble softly.
Arms adding,
unfold, grow.
Whoever has felt a snowflake form?
A duchess construct,
compressed, her corsets,
bedecked all diamonds,
pain is beauty.
Sharply gloved,
draped with lace,
wig bolted on,
Strained.
The ladies maids,
Thrust to and fro,
holding breath,
Faint and fall,
Sky of lace and pearls,
Fine ladies dressed,
Face froze serene,
A fall in grace…
In breathless sleep.

You are most definitely writing again
but your wanting to do it is even better news.
Glad to see you back.
