Bright Star.

Bright star oh shine from Heaven's heart,
And light my way, eclipse my dark.
Leave not when sunlight burns the clouds,
shine on Bright star, shine long and proud.

Bright star that stands so clear and true,
I wish that i could wish on you,
I'd ask that you be always there,
and with you all my life i'd share.

Bright star you sparkle like a gem,
You guide us all to Bethlehem,
You light the sky and pale the moon,
You will i fear burn out too soon,

Bright star you travel many miles,
To shine on me and make me smile,
I wish that i knew just how far,
From this green Earth you really are,

Bright star you shimmer with the rest,
No longer are you quite the best,
But i still look up every night,
to see you shed your silvery light,

And i know you'll shine when i am gone,
I'll fly to heaven and you'll shine on,
But i will watch you on God's T.V.
