Life Has Its Limits

We think, as we approach the coming years, memories will sustain us. And wet when the limbs slow down due to a variety of ailments, ie arthritis---sore muscles---we recognize the past is far beyond our capacity to duplicate those quick movements, as thrusting our paddle in the streams of life.
I really enjoyed the outdoors, canoeing, hiking, fishing and camping. So long ago I did so. Now the closer I get to 100, the more I tell myself the younger I feel. At one time after my creation word on the street mentioned 30 as old, and beyond 60, well that was ancient, never mind what scholars said about the elderly statesmen in the Bible.
Now I am reminded of the mortality of life when I see friends, family and the constant reminder of others who have taken the passenger train to Heaven. And many of them younger than I. Therefore dear friends and family---ensure your heart is cleared from all unforgiveness, and thus be prepared should it be your time to go on a new and wonderful journey.
