in a better place

You stop thinking after a time
Rubbery words from books not read
Answers to life’s geography
Warped fizzing can of physiology
Keep it under you hate
Intelligence is not retarded
Facts fit faces and no longer facts
Something covered by TV
Facebook and social media frenzy
You understand you’re unnecessary
Man to man insensible
Strident voices don’t need to say
Wrong in every way
Kinder to avoid hurt
Trump card of reality
And a stab of nostalgia
The way it used to be
People knew their place
We were free
Clean home, clean streets, clean county
This way to the point of departure
We pride ourselves you’ll have a good flight
The final solution when everyone’s so nice
Cheap at the price.

Is it saying that today we've lost our way and wanting to return to a time when life seemed easier?
If so I agree with this piece and think you're spot on.
Jenny.

but. not to worry... with sufficient 'guidance from above', we'll be taught to accept anything...
Great poem...
