A lasting memory for father & son

our jogging pace kept alive

along a weathered mountain trail

as we tested muscle and bone.

It sure felt good in spite of rain

and breezes from twilight’s gaze.

Too soon came time to part our ways

fun ending by a fishing stream

and goodbye never a forever word.

Readers and friends -- thank you all for your condolences. The friends and families who knew our son showed such love and kind words it greatly helped in calming us and providing closure.Thank you so much folks in Abbotsford BC where Scotty paassed away in the hospital where first class staff are so caring. .

Yes, Rhiannonw, we are so happy to have spoken to Scott. He told friends how happy we were coming then passed away in his sleep two days before we left for Abbotsford BC. A bad snowstorm delayed us but such a wonderful memorial was organized for him and it gave us a welcoming closure.
