As the
river flowing
as I
stand on a bridge
below my
feet
before me
is a valley
trees of
green
that
reaches out to the sky
such
beauty
before my
eyes
to the
right of my eyes
I see the
sun
twinkle
through
the trees
in the
early morning light
if I close
my eyes
I can hear
the
sound of
the river
below my
feet
going by
and the
gently
swaying
of the trees
and feel
the early
morning breeze
I open my
eyes and see a beautiful sight
down the
valley
the
mountains
look so
small
at the end
of my view
who knew
that
beauty
in this
little place
could take
my breath away
and I feel
such peace inside
in this
moment of time
and now it
time to move on
and say
goodbye
I see some
little birds
flying in
the sky
and when
they day is done
and I am
home
again
and the
sun said
goodnight
and
there
stars above
I can
hear the swaying of the trees
outside my
window
and if i
can close
my eyes
and
I can
recall
that
beautiful
place
that
wonderful
sight
with it's
valley of
green trees
and the
river flowing by

I like how you have your poem
I like how you have your poem in the middle, like it is the path of sunshine on the water. You create a lovely, peaceful vibe

Yes, the way the poem is set
Yes, the way the poem is set , like stepping stones to a natural scene that is restful, it works well for me.
