Hope of Spring

blossom bruised
bouqueted not
arid leaves.......
can she grow?
tendrilling through autumn
slumbering under winter's blanket.
waiting........
waiting......
waiting for the warmth of spring.
the bud to emerge
stronger.........more vibrant
with hope of being part of a magnificent bouquet.
