Inprints of my Mind

The saying goes "If you love something, set it free"
But how can i set you free when you are so very much part
of my life.
You are in my every awakening thoughts,
and in my haziest of dreams,
Your there when i'm thinking of something else
and trying to move on with my life.

Why do you manipulate my thoughts
when i dont want to think of you?
Why do you remind me of your presence
when i dont even want you near me today
Please leave my mind in peace
I want to be alone now in my thoughts.
