Many people misunderstand transdimensionalism. It is yet to be taken
seriously by the medical or psychiatric communities. Indeed, it is only
the Internet that has allowed TDs to come together for the first time,
to share the pain of being born into the wrong dimension.

It's so nice to see so many faces here today, although it seems the
weather stopped turnout being as good as it might have been. Perhaps
some of us will feel more at home, coming, as our spirits do, from more
watery climes. Derek?

Yes, that is an interesting question and you'll be pleased to hear that
no, TDs are often of a non-humanoid variety, too, and are thus welcome
within our group. A sea-wyvern, you say? Wow, that's wonderful, let's
give Derek a round of applause everyone.

Now, let me tell you my story.

It was clear from an early age that I was not like other children. I
was often described as 'away with the fairies'. I spent my childhood
looking for the living spirits in natural things and always suffered
the pain of finding none here. For my spirit was meant for another
place, a kinder place where people live in harmony and listen to the
spirits of nature. When I told my family about the world of Ghiar, I
was dismissed for having an overactive imagination, but I know that
Ghiar did not exist in my mind alone? yes, Derek?

You too! Hey, that's wonderful. You know, I didn't even know that there
were sea-wyverns in Ghiar. Everyone? a wonderful example to those who
think of us as merely deluded. Many TDs have shared the so-called
fantasy of a world with almost the same name as many others. The
memories of our spirits, of course, do get rather jumbled in transit,
hence the occasional discrepancy. Derek? there'll, uh, be some time for
questions and stuff at the end, right?

So, how do we establish a connection with our lost true homes? Many
fantasy authors, whether they acknowledge it or not, are TDs. What's
seen as wild fiction by most 'mundanes' more often than not comes from
their spirit's memory of its time in another place - these authors are
channels for their worlds, teaching us their mighty legends and
precepts that we might learn from them.
