Alone With You

Come to me like a dream
when I'm naked in bed
wide open to you.

Come to me at night
when the dark has dropped down
and covered our tracks.

Settle on me slowly
soft as stardust
still warm from the glow
Of long dissolved suns.

Pretend that you're him,
I'll pretend that I'm her -
that way we can cross
the space between worlds.
