Missing and Missed

It came to pass, this Christmas last
To a new house we did arrive
My sweet little dears came along too
Anticipating a change - at first they did thrive
But soon after my Spuffington Jack
Made a move towards the other track
I searched awhile and hoped to see
The little scallywag return to me
But many months on he wont come home
Leaving just Missy Marmite and me alone
I wonder what happened and where he did go
For poor Missy Marmite really misses him so
