Ukraine needed rebuilding! His toyships had blasted the coastal cities and the Donbas, as well as taking quite a number of potshots at Lvov and occasionally Kiev, as well as keeping up the pressure on Kharkov.
He had done very well, destroying countless lives, and even more livelihoods! Finally he had been able to bully NATO into agreeing to stop arming the Ukrainian Nazis. His nuclear tantrums had certainly paid dividends. Those threats on London, Paris and Berlin really did the trick, and although the Poles and Lithuanians, backed up now by the Finns and the Swedes, had been insistent that NATO should now actually invade the Russian Federation for certain military targets. The old softer Western European NATO nations had opted for a softer approach, otherwise meaning capitulation, and a pragmatic withdrawal of new weapons to Ukraine. Meanwhile Plutin had organized the mass conscription of Russian males, of the younger type, and mobilization of all ex servicemen of working age.
The western Europeans and the Americans had believed Plutin’s nuclear threats at last, once he had actually begun some countdowns! Of course he didn’t really want to annihilate those beautiful historic cities, but he would have done it happily if he couldn’t get what he wanted (He was not becoming known as ‘the chess player’ for nothing!)
And so Ukraine finally fell into his pocket. The Nazi Rats started scurrying out of Kiev once again. Russian forces started turning the tide again in Donbas, as the Ukrainians began to run out of ammunition and were no longer able to acquire the best weapons as the western Europeans and NATO honoured their new agreements to stop sending weapons to Ukraine, so Plutin’s Russian nuclear missiles would not land upon their precious capitals.
The refugee crisis became much larger, which Plutin was very pleased about, and even the ‘supposedly ‘noble’ Ukraine Army began to suffer from desertion! Soldiers ran away to look after their families. They all knew westernized Ukraine was going down because the weapons were finally being restricted.
Plutin’s newly expanded forces gradually pushed them back, a flurry of ‘surgical’ missile strikes into Odessa caused its population to have to hide or run, and very soon it began to look like Mariupol all over again! It didn’t matter to Plutin, he would rebuild it one day, when they had all learned their lesson!
The trouble was now Russia would have to rebuild Ukraine, and there weren’t too many Ukrainians left to rule over. Oh well, to begin with they would have to live without amenities. At least they would be allowed regular food supplies soon, and would not be subject to bombardment any more, once Russia had restored its territory!
One day Plutin would have to go there himself to oversee matters, but for now troublesome subjects would have to be taught where their loyalties would lie in the future, reminded of where their loyalties used to lie before the carve up of the Soviet Union. They must be forced to work once again for Mother Russia, sabotage must be put down. Germany and the rest of NATO’s Europe would once again be obliged to buy their gas and their petrol from Russia. They now knew the consequences if they refused!
