My attention span is getting steadily shorter,

And yours is even shorter than mine.

Have you noticed Time is always running out?

Doctors’ appointments, care visits, the time it takes to write an Email, or even a novel,

Have you noticed they are all getting shorter?

Only the songs are getting longer, since the demise of the single.

Walk faster to catch the train, so you can still get to work on time.

That is crucial, because you don’t want to lose your job in this money centred world.

Who wrote that Time Stands Still? no it doesn’t!

Why is it that I can’t write novels anymore and have to resort to these quick bursts of poetry and thought?
