Buckle the Little Dragon

Buckle missed his Mummy.He'd never been away from her as long as this before, he couldn't even breathe fire yet. Yes Buckle missed his Mummy and hoped that she missed him.

He had seen the school before, but only had never been in its grounds before. But now Buckle, had been two weeks in the school and so far had made no friends and missed his Mummy.

It was on a Tuesday, when he discovered that his Mummy was going to visit him that weekend. Yet the little dragon had a problem, he wanted to show his Mummy that he had grown up a little bit.

So that night Buckle, tip toed out of his dorm room. However, he did not know that he was being followed by another dragon, called James.

James watched Buckle try for ages at blowing a candle on fire. So James flew up to Buckle "Hey, want to know the secret about how to breath fire?"

When Friday came, Buckle saw his Mummy and ran up to her, wagging his orange tail, he hugged her.

"Want to see what I can do now Mummy" she nodded at her son, smiling.

With that Buckle blew a bit if fire in the air. His Mummy clapped, " How did you learn that?"

Buckle smiled at her, "It's a secret"
