Large Pharmaceutical company’s agent bribes Chinese person or persons unknown millions to buy their products. Chinese government accuse pharmaceutical company of corrupting Chinese officials.

Pharmaceutical company outraged and sends investigator to suss things out.

Chinese government arrests investigator for delving into Chinese official private lives.

Legitimate business works like this:

Ebola has been around in equatorial Africa for over a generation, mostly in countries populated by the poorest people in the world governed by governments (at times at war or just corrupt) with little or no resources.

The Pharmaceutical companies did little or nothing

Ebola breaks out of Equatorial Africa threatening to contaminate westerners and their rich countries.

Pharmaceutical companies say they can have a vaccine ready within five years.
