Today Will Soon Be Yesterday
Today my very soul shines and just like the sun, my face radiates a light so bright it dazzles those who gaze upon my countinence.
Yesterday the storms battered my very being. The rain hammered soul-piercing nails of doom upon the coffin of gloom that imprisoned me.
Today the years are rolling back and I buzz from task to task at home like a frenzied honey bee. I cannot do enough to satisfy the energy that burns from within.
Yesterday the moments turned to hours. Grey skies sank in deep within and I had no zest, no zeal for anything; I cared for nothing and yearned for all the things the gloomy day was never going to gift me.
Today is twenty four hours in length; about as long as yesterday.
Yesterday had an end that kept on dissapearing; an end that never seemed to come.
Today will end too soon, but today can always come again. If you hear me Mr Sunshine the key's under the mat. Just let yourself in.
