Betrayal

I've been attacked by a drastic catastrophe
painfully I've learnt not to commit so readily
my first experience of love turned to agony
as from sponge to stone, one to the contrary
now, scarred and in pieces, i live life in misery
a tearful existance that represses the best in me.
