Loss

Loss
Listless singing
haunts the dark bay window
And the chair creaks and the flames flash
orange and glowarm
The silent noise listens to the voice
flowing over the bannister
Into the four poster brass
the heavy, dark dust velvet
Hangs suffocatiob around the white
neck and shoulders
Of thick clogged cream
Daggers
Jump
From the tarnished gold wall
Thrusting
Through the spaces
In between
The chandelier and the ritualcandleabra
The spirit floats
Over
The sculptured domes
Rippling
Overwhelming in the past lives
You are amongst the lonliness
Living through deadness in me
You are the
Memory
Pain
Beauty
Waiting to unfold
Your wrapping of thin white crepe
I will not let you
I will not let you
Rule me with an eye of glistening
Beauty
But a heart of bitter destruction
I do not want
I do not need
Your memory
Beside me
Behind me
In front
Above
Below
Get thee behind me Satan
I am too powerful to die from loss
