Some thought, at first,
that it was a scene
of a film being made
about Halloween
then heard screams,
realised their error
and, as panic ensued,
they fled in terror.
In the carriage “J”
a man of middle age,
brandishing a knife,
was on the rampage.
He'd already caused
a great deal of harm
when a passenger
raised the alarm.
The driver, informed
of what was going on,
made the decision
to stop at Huntingdon.
Sam, a LNER steward,
put himself in harm's way
to protect the passengers.
His bravery saved the day
and countless human lives
who were in grave danger
of being assassinated
by a deranged stranger.
