Consider the theory of Now.

( I have no facts to back this up!)

An endless stream of parallel worlds
seconds apart;

lit by the bead of time streaming
brightest at now, fading early past,
failing at near future.

Time travel only possible between
near past past now and near future now;
unless you move dimensionally.

And then?

It depends on whether all worlds
are exactly the same. If not:
are all futures possible?

If it is possible to time travel
in the realms of Now;
how do Time Travellors appear?
near to Now: as they move through time?

Are they as shades;
or shadows on a lamp
flickering on the wall?

If you live past your time;
in your dream of great new now;
do you suffer decay, do you become
horrid and grey? As you would have been.
