Essential.

I thought it would be easy, I had written it down as one of the things on my to do list. But when I got to that on my list, it wasn’t in the first shop, or the second shop, or the third shop, I wasn’t worried, as I was confident it would be in the next shop. When it wasn’t in the next shop, undefeated, I went to the next shop, buying the items, along the way, that was also on my list. By the end of the shopping up town, I realized there wasn’t any way that I was going to buy the main thing that I went up town for. I knew there was only One shop that was going to have exactly what I wanted in abundance! There would be no ifs or buts, it would be a given!

I hadn’t been to TKMaxx in many months! But even though, time was short, less than thirty minutes, I would be there as I was on my way to look after my Mum, she has dementia, I know I would find it here.

First, I went to the hair section, and saw gummies vitamins for my hair, at a fraction of the price that I had paid the day before, from the Very expensive health shop, as I can’t swallow tablets. Nearby I saw the satin night cover for my hair for only £5 I had ordered one on-line and it had got lost was £13, for which I got my refund back. I then went upstairs and went to my ultimate favourite, part of TKMaxx, the flasks section, I quickly looked for very tiny flasks, none were to be found, then I saw something for Paul, he’d asked me to get him a bigger flask for when we go to car boots, for the one that I had got him, cost £20, but it wasn’t enough, as he drinks a lot of coffee, it was the same size, with keeping drinks hot for 24 hours and also £20 it was the perfect gift for him, I added that to my little trolley and then headed to the section, as to why I had driven miles out of town!

The pet section, and I was not disappointed, as usual there were so many choices. For one scratching cardboard it cost £4 just worth it! Then I saw a pack of three for a mere £8 that was the one I put in my trolley – WOW!!

I looked for my favourite perfume that I first got from there, but it was not there, I will keep looking. It was good to see the store nice and full. At the till the staff asked me, “Do you want to do a quick survey, you could win £250.” I said, “OK,” And a Staff went through it with me, near the door. It would be good to win the £250, I would spend it there.

I felt happy going, felt happy while there, felt happy when I left.

This morning when I put two of the scratching boards down, I was going to put down just one, but with 6 cats I didn’t want there to be any squabbles between them! So, I put the two down, with one of them a sprinkling of the catnip on. When the cats came back inside after I’d put them outside after their breakfast, they went straight to the new scratching boards! It was a hit, their excited tails were in the air, as they niffed and did what cats do automatically, dug their claws in, and scratched, it was lovely to watch them. Then two of them sat on one each, Cynthia, and Jonathan, and went to sleep! While the others sat in their usual places around the room.

To see them SO happy, filled me with joy.
