Angel of mine I need some good news to lift me from the way I feel

cause lately it’s all bad news  and I need some time to heal

I’ve lost a lot of dear ones

and found a lot of heartaches

but I keep telling myself

keep going as long as it takes

You know what I need to hear

you know what I need to feel

you know what I’m trying to say

you know what, its getting harder everyday   

Angel of mine I know you’re always near , let me know it’s going to be all right  

Because its so dark these days won’t you lead me into a better light

You know what I have to do

You know what I’m telling you  

you know what there is to know l

you know what I’m trying to say

you know what , there’s going to be a better day

Angel of mine wrap your wings around me now and lift me up high above

all of worries in my mind so I can begin to float in the presence of love

You know what I went through yesterday   

you know what my sorrow is today   

You know what tomorrow has in store

you know what I've needed your help so many times before .
